Valun is a small fishing village at the bottom of a wide bay Valun. Not far away from the coast is situated the parish church. On the wall of the sacristy was built slab so-called Valun plate, which is one of the oldest Glagolitic records in Croatia.Valun is 15km from Cres by car 15 km or by sea 5km(4.5 Nm).
